We were appointed by the Diocese of Winchester as the main contractor for the refurbishment of Old Alresford Place, transforming the historic building into a new head office for the Diocese and its staff.

The project involved a comprehensive internal refurbishment, including the reconfiguration of existing rooms to create modern office spaces, the installation of new electrical systems and lighting throughout, and the creation of a new kitchen facility designed to accommodate staff and provide space for hosting.

Full redecoration was carried out throughout the building, refreshing the interiors while retaining the character and charm of the historic property.

As a listed building, the project required a sensitive approach to ensure that modern workplace requirements could be introduced without compromising its architectural heritage. We worked closely with conservation officers throughout the process, carefully balancing contemporary functionality with the preservation of the building’s historic features.
