Situated in the heart of Winchester, Eastgate House stood vacant for many years before being given a new lease of life through an extensive redevelopment, transforming the building into modern office space at ground-floor level and luxury apartments above.
We were proud to undertake the full exterior refurbishment, restoring the building’s appearance and enhancing its presence as a standout feature on Winchester’s historic High Street.
The project began with the careful cleaning of the brickwork using a superheated water cleaning system, removing years of accumulated dirt while respecting the character of the existing masonry. We then carried out extensive repairs to the brickwork, render and timber elements before fully redecorating the exterior using KEIM breathable mineral paint, selected to provide a durable, high-quality finish suited to traditional buildings.
To complete the transformation, all rainwater goods were replaced, delivering a cohesive and refreshed exterior that combines traditional character with a high standard of modern workmanship. The result is a revitalised building that celebrates Winchester’s architectural heritage while serving a new purpose for generations to come.
